In stormy Sundays you can always go back to the stuff you have from sunny days, like just a week ago.

A person walks down a graffiti-covered stairwell illuminated by red lighting.

Ice cream flavors such as Coconut & Caramel, Hazelnut Praline, Black Sesame, Red Fruit Sorbet, and Cookies & Cream are written on a glass display in front of empty metal containers.

A weathered urban scene features a cracked wall with graffiti and various posters, set against a clear sky and adjacent to a traffic light.

Green public restrooms and a trash bin are situated on a cobblestone sidewalk, with a large advertisement for Marvila Collection on a building in the background.

Two people are walking along a sunlit street with a textured white wall and their shadows cast on it.

Shopping before the rainy Sunday hits us.

A person in a green cap is carrying a shopping cart and a plastic bag up a steep outdoor staircase, with another person in the background and trucks parked nearby.

“(…) perhaps a country that actually wants oursiders.”

More than the actual effectiveness Spain’s decision, which is a valid conversation, the condescending, almost white-saviour tone of this is amazing. As if we should welcome the money brought by the foreign rich man…

“Spain Has Lost Its Mind. A 100% Real Estate Tax is Your Sign to Move Elsewhere“

Still from last week’s march against racism here in Lisbon, something that, according to our prime-minister, is very radical to do…Let’s be radical then.

Embaixador de Israel agora na SICN: não existe fome em Gaza, e para provar tenho aqui uma foto de carne tirada lá, e que vou mostrar brevemente no meu telemóvel.

Musa de Inverno.

A glass of dark beer with a frothy head sits on a bright red surface, featuring a "HUSA" logo.

Pretty sunsets to close the day.

A cityscape at dusk is reflected in a window, showcasing a vibrant purple and pink sky above silhouetted buildings.

Annoying when Atlassian thinks people are getting too comfortable in their tools, and decides to shake things up and give a “new enhanced experience” that feels like you’re using a brand new tool…

I’m growing more and more disconnected of many travel people sharing stuff in the webs, specially Instagram. Trying to avoid generalizations, that I truly hate to do, but there’s a specific pattern that I seem to have a part of my brain dedicated to it:

  1. Plenty of videos in the stories walking in the streets with an action camera, saying “I’m in this really cool spot!”
  2. Visited country counter in the profile
  3. Linktree with all the affiliate links

Rant mode off…

So… The thing now on Instagram is spamming by bulk liking my comments, despite being years old, so I eventually click their OF page?… 🙄

Moon today comes with a black myst filter included.

A serene landscape features a glowing full moon over a vast, calm body of water with a grassy foreground.

Fully awake… 🙄

Regardless not planning to shoot large format on film, I tend to watch LOTS of it, it’s some of the best photography related content on YouTube.

And in topic of small victories this werk: convinced someone to switch from WhatsApp to Signal, and currently the chat app I’m using less often, and candidate to uninstall, is Telegram.

Another full day in pijamas… Being on a rainy and misty day makes it feel less bad.

It has been a strange few days, with the Meta owned services slowly moving closer to become X. Another blunt reminder that we must move away from these centralized services, that depend on the whim of their owner, into something more open, more decentralized, more transparent and where the user owns its data. This is very uncomfortable and somehow painful, but means transitioning from X, Facebook, WhatsApp to Mastodon, BlueSky, Signal, etc.

While I’m still the “old social media”, and kind of active, I’ve been much more present in this more decentralized and privacy conscious side of the internet, and that’s a trend to continue in this weird near future. Except on Signal, because it’s complicated to move people away from WhatsApp, but there’s still hope to change that this year!
