Photog stuff

Photography, travels and the rants that comes with them.

I migrated the old posts here to a new location dedicated to my photography work updates, but I'll keep using this one for my random thoughts on photography and travel.

    …plenty of time for coffee…

    ✈️ Dubai Airport

    ….aaaand here we go!!

I always hated the days before travel, and I think I always will…

    I’ve had worse Sundays…

    Morning walk

Getting into that final week, pre-trip anxiety of “eager to get there!” and “why do I get into these things?”. I used to get confused how can someone feel so different and opposed things exactly at the same time, until I went to India I realized that’s the norm while being there.

    Sunday mornings…

    Coffee cup

Earlier from today, the posters from the Preview of Lisbon’s Photo Book Fair all over the surroundings.

    Still about yesterday…

    Back to Amplifest

Back to Porto for Amplifest. Like last year, I ended up taking the camera with me. Like last year, I ended up turning it mostly to everyone around, not the bands. I’m really not a concert photographer, I’m more into paying attention to the small things that are happening around me, and that’s why the moments I took the camera from my bag were the dead moments between shows. The breaks to have a beer, to hangout outside by the sun, to chill and enjoy the day. Just like I was doing.

    Sunday mornings…

Slipper and toys on the floor

Como diz a minha amiga Fátima, não me importava de ver Amenra uma vez por ano, assim para lavar a alma! Só isto já teria feito valer a pena ter vindo ao Amplifest no Porto.

Starting to feel like winter sun… Good morning Porto!

Mandatory photo of raindrops on the window on rainy, it’s not me who makes the rules 🤷🏻

Funny little kiosks that appear out of nowhere

Sometimes there’s really very little energy for social interactions, and the more people the worse it gets. It’s a matter of taking a deep breath and moving on.

The first rule of Photography is that there are no rules.

    Empty

How does someone loose an outlet?…

Funny to post a photo on insta late night (I’m not really caring with best times to post nowadays) and checking which of your friends are still up. Time to get some sleep.
